Pair of Elephant Bookends

These bookends are not made of resin but hand-carved in river stone by craftspeople in Indonesia.

They depict the Hindu elephant deity Ganesha, Lord of Success, Education, Knowledge and Wisdom. He is also the destroyer of obstacles, so you may want to place books between these bookends, which you always meant to read but haven't got round to yet.
